Youth Employment Serbia

BCYF announces its 2nd Open Call for Grants to Youth Start-Up Businesses in Serbia. All interested young people, aged between 18 and 30 years are invited to submit their proposals for new, innovative and sustainable businesses until the 30th of November. Priority will be given to applications coming outside Belgrade metropolitan area.

Open dialogue on social inclusion through youth employment and youth labour rights in Macedonia

Balkan children and youth foundation continues the implementation of the project “Open dialogue on social inclusion through youth employment and youth labour rights in Macedonia” funded by European Commission’s DG for Employment, Social Affairs & Equal Opportunities.

Upcoming activities:

• Panel discussion on “Decent Work” due on 19 November 2009 in Skopje – will offer open dialogue among different sectors in Macedonia, enriched by the guest speaker from Slovenia who will give us insight on the Slovenian experience in creating conditions for decent work while following EU policies.

• Round Table on “Economic Empowerment of Youth” due on 10 December 2009 in Strumica -  this activity will bring project partners, donors, decision and policy makers, academia, civil sector, business community and young people, as well as experts from the field on one table to discuss and recognize the importance of economic empowerment of young people that leads to their social inclusion, their eradicated or the least decreased level of poverty, increased labour rights and employment opportunities, all topics covered in different project activities throughout the current year.  more...

The Youth Employability Program - Serbia and Macedonia

Balkan Children and Youth Foundation supported by Schueler Helfen Leben Stiftung in the framework of the Youth Employability Programme is announcing the open calls for Macedonia and Serbia for support of the best two business plans. The aim of this action is to give support to unemployed young people and to improve access opportunities for young people into the local business community.
